Yesterday, April 2, was the warmest day in our area for years! I'm sure it broke record highs. It was 90 degrees and simply beautiful.
It was a fun day too!
Earlier that morning, I sat in an office and signed papers with Ken. We now own a great new (used!) white pick up truck. The gentleman who drew up the papers said, in a rather ho-hum tone, "So, its Monday. Do you have to WORK today?"
I smiled, and said, "YES!" He looked surprised. I said, "I LOVE my job and I actually do get to work today!" He asked what I did. I told him, "I am a professional photographer. I guess I'm really quite lucky to actually do what I LOVE. Today, I am photographing a young family and their baby. OUTSIDE on this glorious day! "
He smiled, and sighed. I guess he doesn't love pushing papers all day.
I'm glad that's not me. Obviously, I never would have chosen a career in simply numbers and paper. I hire people to do that in my life!

And so it begins.

Where does time go? Its less then a month until Christmas. Thanksgiving is a memory.
Ask my friend, Amy, where the time goes. Her baby was just born yesterday, right?

One year can go by way too quickly for any mother. Sometimes, it feels like the days drag on and on especially when your baby is sick or fussy. But then again, I look back on the days of my babies and think, WAIT! It was yesterday that my biggest concern for the entire day was what we were going to have for lunch, or was it the day to go to the library.
Enjoy your babies. Grow with them. And remember, they turn into teens soon, but don't be frightened. The teen years have their very own joys!
Now, get out there and take some more pictures! Be sure to back them up on your computer or on a website!

Once again, a wonderful client who has chosen our Watch Me Grow program. Rocco is now four months old...we would have done a 3 mos. session, but alas, we were in the middle of moving!
He was in the best mood, so happy and strong! We had a great time posing mom and dad together and separately with him.
My new studio is perfect. I even have a bathroom with a changing counter! yay!
